Nynäshamn's picture archive comprises about 100,000 glass plates and negatives, about 10,000 photographs and 10,000 slides. With the image archive's web-based database you can see over 3500 of these images! Welcome to stride into history!

Historical signs

In Nynäshamn there are nine historical signs with information about the different environments. You can for example read about that there was an ice hockey rink at Estö IP and that Stadsparken was inaugurated in 1955.

Johannesdal – Moas torp (cottage)

Moa Martinsson`s cottage is beautifully located on the border between Ösmo and Sorunda. If you want to visit this beautiful cottage and get a sense of how Moa lived, then you can book a visit via Moa`s granddaughter Harriet Thungren.
